Are you eager to achieve your highest levels of peak performance?
Are you ready to get rid of negative self talk and performance anxiety?
Are you looking to regain and rebuild your confidence?
Performance Brainspotting provides powerful and focused coaching that goes beyond traditional sports psychology. Utilizing the groundbreaking modality called Brainspotting, we are able to interact with the primitive part of the brain that’s responsible for the Fight, Flight or Freeze response, and can facilitate the processing and release of the physical and emotional sports related trauma that hinders top performance.
Since this is a brain/body based treatment, it aids individuals in processing their own sports trauma (i.e. being struck by a fastball pitch), or secondary sports trauma (i.e. witnessing a fellow athlete have a “meltdown” in a pressure situation), while also untangling the thoughts and beliefs attached to the difficulty, thereby allowing the physical and emotional sensations to be released. This leads to relief from held trauma that can cause negative effects like “blocks” and “the yips” that athletes may experience during their creative lifetimes.
Here is a notable interview with MLB standout Mackey Sasser and Brainspotting developer Dr. David Grand discussing how “the yips” took down Mackey’s baseball career, and how a few Brainspotting sessions cured him of “the yips” and brought back his abilities and love for the game.
Numerous other top athletes including Gold Medal-winning Olympic skier, Lindsey Vonn; the 2024 #9 men’s triathlete in the world, Sam Long; and Chicago Cubs shortstop (and #1 overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft), Dansby Swanson, have all benefitted from the modality of Brainspotting. If the time has come for you to explore this powerful modality, know that you have come to the right place.
